WIN! 24 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X prize packs from eBay

Attention all gamers - eBay is giving away 24 free PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X console prize packs for Christmas with a stack of accessories and games thrown in for good measure. Here's how to enter.

If you missed out on securing a next-gen console during the pre-order madness, this could be your last chance to grab one before Christmas. On 3 December 2020, eBay is offering its customers the chance to win one of 24 prize packs containing either a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

Here's what's included in each prize pack:

  • PS5 Prize Pack: 1x PlayStation 5 console, 2x PS5 Dualsense Wireless controllers, 1x Powerwave PS5 5m Controller Charger, 1x PULSE 3D Wireless Headset, x3 PS5 games (Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold.) Total prize value: $1,384.60.
  • Xbox Prize Pack: Contains 1x Xbox Series X console, 2x Xbox Wireless Controllers, x2 Xbox Series Play and Charge Kits, 1x Turtle Beach Recon Headset, 3x Xbox Series X games (Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5 Limited Edition.)

No bad, huh? This is easily the best prize giveaway eBay has done in a long while - and entering couldn't be simpler.

How to win your PS5 or Xbox prize pack

To be in with a chance to win, all you need to do is sign up to eBay Plus between now and 6 December. You will then automatically enter the draw. (Unfortunately, existing eBay Plus members are not eligible to enter.)

The competition kicks off on 3 December 2020 at 10am AEDT with entries closing at 11.59pm AEDT on 6 December 2020.

That's it! Winners will be chosen via a computerised random draw at 2:00pm (AEDT) on 8 December 2020. Winners will be notified in writing by 10 December, with the prizes being mailed out as soon as they have confirmed their address. In other words, you should have the console in your hands by Christmas if you're lucky enough to win.

Note: eBay is not giving customers a choice on which console they want - instead, the first 12 winners will receive the PS5 prize pack while the following 12 winners will get the Xbox Series X. (Before anyone starts claiming this is proof that PlayStation trumps Xbox, the PS5 prize pack is actually worth slightly more money which is why it has been classed as first prize.)
