Win a $1,000 Qantas voucher with Woolworths

Posted: 18 May 2017 12:26 pm

A new winner will be announced every 30 minutes until midnight on Friday.

Do you want to turn your grocery shop into your next holiday? Well, Woolworths and Qantas have partnered to give frequent flyers a chance to just that this week.

Launched at midnight overnight, Qantas is rewarding customers with $1,000 flight vouchers every 30 minutes for 48 hours until midnight on Friday 19 May 2017.

So, how can you throw your hat in the ring? Simply log in to your Woolworths Rewards account, head to your redemption settings and opt to "convert to Qantas Points". Not only will this mean that the Woolworths Rewards you earn as you shop will be exchanged for Qantas Points, but you’ll also go into the running to win 1 of the 96 flight vouchers up for grabs.

If you do opt to exchange your Woolworths Rewards to frequent flyer points, you’ll receive 870 Qantas Points for every 2,000 Woolworths Rewards (in other words, 0.43 Qantas Points per 1 Woolworths Reward). While this isn’t the most competitive exchange rate, it’s one way to top up your frequent flyer points on everyday spending. Plus, the chance of a $1,000 flight voucher could mean you see the perks of the rewards partnership sooner rather than later.

Use our calculator to discover how many frequent flyer points you could pick up based on your weekly or yearly spending at Woolworths.

If you’re not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer or Woolworths Rewards member, you can sign up for free online. For savings on your next shop, check out our Woolworths discounts and coupon codes here.
