Qantas has announced the golden ticket of frequent flyer competitions.

One lucky Qantas Frequent Flyer will win either $25,000 or $250,000 with Qantas Cash. Plus, ten (slightly less) lucky members will win runner-up prizes of $1,000.

So how does this work? The Grand Prize Winner will be flown to Sydney where they’ll be guaranteed to win at least $25,000. Here, they’ll pick one envelope out of 100 prize envelopes, 99 of which contain $25,000 and one that contains the jackpot amount $250,000.

Whichever envelope they choose, the money is theirs to keep and load onto their Qantas Cash card.

The winners of the $1,000 prizes will be notified by Qantas and will also receive the money in their Qantas Cash account.

You can use your Qantas Cash card to shop in Australia, overseas and online in over 11 foreign currencies, so the possible ways you could use your prize money are almost infinite.
