It takes a village bar to raise a child. That's the premise behind this new drama directed by George Clooney and boasting an appealing cast.

Based on the best-selling memoir by American journalist and novelist J. R. Moehringer, The Tender Bar kicks off with J.R. as a young boy with a deadbeat father. Luckily, the rest of his family is supportive – and J.R. grows up surrounded by the quirky patrons at the bar where his good-natured uncle works.

The movie looks like an easy-going and moving experience. If you're a fan of coming-of-age stories, we strongly advise you check it out.
