While the franchise keeps going strong to this day, The Karate Kid Part III is the final movie in the original trilogy.

Upset that his karate school Cobra Kai is failing, John Kreese is back and eager to do anything to get revenge on Daniel and Mr. Miyagi, whom he blames for his misfortune. His plan involves hiring a mean-spirited fighter to challenge Daniel in an upcoming championship, which ends up driving a wedge between Daniel and his mentor.

The movie might not be as good as its predecessors but it remains quite entertaining even all these years later. The action scenes are top-notch and the performances as nuanced as ever. If you like martial arts dramas, The Karate Kid Part III is a solid choice.
