People with autism see the world differently. And so the hit show The Good Doctor, from ABC studios, asks the question - how would a gifted, autistic person perform as a doctor?

While Dr Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) has suffered because of his autism, he is also a savant, able to perform extraordinary feats with his extraordinary intelligence.

The show focuses on this talent, and the challenges Murphy's emotionally distant personality creates in a career that often relies on close, interpersonal communication.
