Chronicling the rise and legitimisation of the porn industry, The Deuce follows the Martino twins (both played by James Franco) through a turbulent time of growing violence and drug abuse in New York. Franco is joined by a star-studded cast with the likes of Maggie Gyllenhaal, Zoe Kazan and Lawrence Gilliard Jr. in supporting roles. Revered writer/journalist and David Simon (The Wire) returns home to HBO with creator/writer credits on The Deuce.

The energetic trailer below promises a good mix of comedy, drama and a nice peppering of action.
