Summer is the season of Cricket in Australia and the Big Bash is back again to fill your need for prime time Cricket.

All eight clubs are back to compete on their home turf and around the country for the cup.

With 35 matches over 40 days, including 4 doubleheaders, all matches will be broadcast live on channel TEN or their partner channel ONE.

The teams:

  • Adelaide Strikers
  • Brisbane Heat
  • Hobart Hurricanes
  • Melbourne Renegades
  • Melbourne Stars
  • Perth Scorchers
  • Sydney Sixers
  • Sydney Thunder

In the men's league, Sydney Thunder will start the season off against the Sydney Sixers on the 20th of December in the Spotless Stadium.

The women’s team and reigning champions the Sydney Sixers will take on the Melbourne Stars on the 9th of December in North Sydney.

Both leagues are ready to start this summer and it’s going to be a scorcher for Aussie sport.
