The Bathurst 1000 kicks off 5 October. Here's where you can watch it from the comfort of your lounge.

Every October scores of rev-heads ascend Mount Panorama for four full days of car racing madness. Whether you're in for the long haul, the Top 10 Shootout or even just the final Sunday race, you can catch the four-day event in its entirety from the comfort of your couch.

Fox Sports 506

FOX Sports has relaunched its dedicated Bathurst 1000 channel for this year's event. Fox Sports 506 is where you can find 24/7 coverage of the Bathurst 1000 from beginning to end. In addition to the usual coverage of the event, Fox Sports 506 also hosts a series of additional programs over its run, including "best of" compilations of past events and classic races.

For those itching for The Great Race, Mark Skaife, Greg Rust and Greg Murphy will be on-location to preview the upcoming race for Inside Supercars at 6:30pm 4 October. From 5 October, Skaife and Neil Crompton will commentate on each race.

That's just a taste of the entertainment on hand via Fox Sports 506. There'll be plenty more to see over the next four days.

Of course, Fox Sports is only available to Foxtel subscribers. Fox Sports 506 is available via the Foxtel Now app or through a traditional Foxtel connection with the Sports package.
