Set in the dark corners of Victorian London, Penny Dreadful is a psychological thriller that sheds new light on classic literary figures such as Dr Frankenstein and Dorian Gray.

The story kicks off when a medium and an adventurer ask a gunslinger for help in dealing with a mysterious creature. They are soon joined by a young doctor facing personal demons of his own.

The show is wildly cinematic and impeccably acted. Once you enter this dazzling world of witches, vampires and intoxicating magic you will be unable to look away.
