One Dollar is a series with an unconventional structure. Set in a small town in post-recession USA, it follows a $1 bill as it changes hands. Wherever it goes, the point of view shifts, introducing viewers to a group of characters involved in a shocking murder.

It's a mystery, sure, but One Dollar also paints a vivid picture of a community ravaged by class differences. You'll be glued to the screen as the town's secrets slowly come to light. The only bad thing about the show is that it only lasted for 1 season.
