On Pointe is a highly anticipated docuseries that captures a season in the prestigious School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City. Promising unprecedented access to the ballet institution, the show chronicles the lives of the students ages 8 to 18 dreaming of becoming successful ballet dancers.

While older students rigorously train for their professional careers, younger ones are put through their paces as they rehearse and perform in New York City Ballet's holiday classic George Balanchine's The Nutcracker, onstage at Lincoln Center.

Based on the trailer, On Pointe will offer a candid look at how competitive and demanding the world of ballet is. "We like to use the word potential because there are no guarantees," someone confesses in the trailer. If you need a bit of inspiration, we highly recommend you tune in.
