Before Naruto Uzumaki's birth, a demon attacked his village of Konohagakure and caused chaos. To save his people, the Hokage – or leader of the establishment – sealed the monstrous beast inside the newborn Naruto.

Fast-forward a few years and Naruto is a young ninja who struggles to be accepted, while also dreaming of mastering his powers to become the Hokage himself. This ambitious goal will send him on a wild journey that involves good friends, skilled enemies and dangerous missions.

The show has a fun premise and likeable characters, as well as solid fight scenes. If you're new to anime, this is a good place to start.
