Monsters at Work is a spin-off of the Monsters, Inc. franchise and a direct sequel to the 2001 movie. The show takes place six months after the events in Monsters, Inc, with the monsters busy at work. The entire factory is harvesting laughs instead of scares, so fans will get to see Monstropolis in a new light.

The series centres on Tylor, a recent Scare Major graduate from Monsters University. He's baffled by the recent changes made at the company, but joins the workforce as a mechanic in the Facilities Team. Tylor also dreams of working alongside his idols, Mike and Sulley, who have been promoted to leadership positions.
