The second movie in the Mission: Impossible franchise sees IMF (Impossible Missions Force) agent Ethan Hunt on the go, this time in Sydney. His task? To stop a terrorist organisation from laying its hands on a dangerous, genetically engineered virus created in a lab. Anyone infected with "Chimera" will suffer a grisly death unless provided with the antidote in a timely fashion.

Like its predecessor, Mission: Impossible II sees Tom Cruise jumping off buildings and dodging bullets, which is fun to look at. Stylish and action-packed, the movie is a treat for fans of the franchise. It also features a great cast, with Thandiwe Newton in particular offering a magnetic performance.
