In King Arthur, the titular character starts off as a cavalry officer in the Roman army rather than a medieval knight.

When he and his troops are sent on a dangerous mission to rescue a noble Roman family, he discovers that the head of the family is a torturer of pagans. Arthur frees one of them, Guinevere – and things quickly escalate.

The movie is entertaining and well-acted, featuring spectacular battle scenes. While history buffs are better off looking elsewhere, those craving for an engaging adventure flick can't go wrong giving this a stream.
