While shows centering on the walking dead tend to be of the gritty variety, iZombie is the exception the rule. Funny, smart and very bingeable, the series is like a breath of fresh air. That’s mainly thanks to Rose McIver, who does a tremendous job in the lead role as a zombie with a heart of gold, ready to lend a helping hand as she takes on different personalities based on whose brain she has to eat any given episode.

As seasons progress, the show isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo and deliver gasp-inducting twists that move the plot in unexpected directions. One thing’s for sure: iZombie will keep you guessing until the very end.
