I Care a Lot

I Care a Lot

Year released

Comedy, crime, thriller

A crooked legal guardian who drains the savings of her elderly wards meets her match when a woman she tries to swindle turns out to be more than she first appears.

Cast and crew

  • Rosamund Pike
  • Peter Dinklage
  • Eiza González
In I Care a Lot, Rosamund Pike plays Marla, a cunning court-appointed guardian for dozens of elderly wards whose assets she seizes and uses for her own benefit. It's all going well until Marla's latest victim, a wealthy woman with seemingly no family, turns out to be connected to a dangerous gangster.

Now, Marla may finally meet her match – and you'll be glued to the screen to see who comes out on top.

Dark and funny, I Care a Lot won't be everyone's cup of tea due to its cynicism and frequent bursts of violence. However, if the movie's humour fits yours, there's plenty to love here, including an excellent cast and outrageous plot developments.
