House follows a brilliant doctor who specialises in diagnostic medicine. In other words, he can figure out what's wrong with patients that other doctors can't cure. However, his bedside manner is lacking, to say the least. A misanthrope by nature, House is more interested in solving puzzles than treating actual people.

Hugh Laurie is a delight in this long-running series. Plus, House has a lot to offer, especially if you're a fan of medical dramas. The cases are intriguing, the acting is great, the character arcs are well-done. You'll fall under the doctor's spell in no time. Side effects include losing sleep because you'd rather watch another episode.
