Cast and crew

  • Anthony Hopkins

After successfully launching North by Northwest, famed director Alfred Hitchcock has its eye on a daring project – adapting Robert Bloch's novel Psycho. The studio has reservations about the picture, so Hitchcock decides to finance it himself. His wife Alma supports his decision, but the production ends up putting a fair amount of pressure on the couple's marriage.

While the movie is likely to appeal to cinema buffs, it's also a fun exploration of a romantic and creative partnership. With Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren as the film's leads, it's hard to go wrong. Whether you're a fan of the iconic Psycho or want to learn more about the legendary director's process, Hitchcock is definitely worth a stream.
