With more than 200 episodes across 22 seasons, Grand Designs needs no introduction at this point. The series, which has been on the air ever since 1999, is a treat for architecture lovers, construction enthusiasts and anyone dreaming of someday designing their own spectacular home.

Every episode, presenter Kevin McCloud features individual builders as they build challenging houses – be it a glass house on top of a cliff or a subterranean home in the middle of London. Their boldness usually pays off but not without delays, mishaps or having to go over budget.

The buildings featured on the show vary, so Grand Designs never gets boring. Quite the opposite. It's a soothing and fascinating series that's pure pleasure to binge.
