Coming from Michelle and Robert King, the same creative duo behind The Good Wife, Evil is a strange but brilliant series with an intriguing premise.

The show kicks off when a forensic psychologist is recruited to help a priest-in-training investigate seemingly supernatural occurrences that have something to do with the church. Like demonic possessions, miracles, exorcisms and so on.

With the help of a tech guy, they delve into spooky incidents with the purpose of figuring out if there's a scientific explanation or if there is something paranormal at play. The psychologist is a skeptic but she finds her convictions repeatedly tested as the team encounters weird phenomena.

A tremendous cast and tight writing make Evil a captivating, bleak and often funny show – one that raises lots of questions and keeps viewers guessing about what's really going on. You might find it unsettling, yet you'll also be compelled to come back for more.
