The society has a long list of rigid values and social norms that imposes a high expectation of conformity upon all the students.

Recess follows a group of fourth-graders at Third Street School who make it their mission to solve various problems in a creative and thoughtful manner. Whether they have to deal with a forgotten permission slip or a bully, they find a way to work together.

This delightful Disney Channel original animated series premiered in 1997, but still resonates with audiences thanks to its positive messages and amazing clique. After all, some of the most important lessons aren't learned in the classroom, but outside, in the playground. We're sure both kids and adults can relate.
