Synopsis

The Tasmanian town of Deadloch, a once sleepy seaside hamlet, is left reeling when a local man turns up dead. 2 detectives are thrown together to solve the case – a fastidious local senior sergeant and a rough-as-guts senior investigator blow-in from Darwin, along with an overeager junior constable. As the town prepares to launch the annual arts, food and culture event, the trio have to put their differences aside and work together to find the killer.

While you might be aware of Deadloch creators Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan from their shows Get Krack!n and The Katering Show, this new Australian series is more a comedy drama.

There are comedic elements in it, but you have them in combination with a murder mystery as a trio of police officers try to find out who killed a man that was found dead on a beach in their quiet town.

With a solid ensemble cast of Australian and New Zealand actors, you'll be hooked from the start.
