In Coming to America, Eddie Murphy plays Akeem, the prince of a wealthy African country. He wants for nothing, except a wife who will love him in spite of his title. To escape an arranged marriage, Akeem flees to America and disguises himself as a foreign student working in fast food, hoping to find his queen.

Hilarious and charming, Coming to America is a great vehicle for Murphy's excellent comedy chops. The movie also features a sweet romance that will likely make you swoon. If you enjoy 80s comedy, this one should go on your watch list ASAP.
