Chewing Gum follows Tracey, a religious Beyoncé-obsessed 24-year-old on a quest to learn more about the world and hopefully even lose her virginity. Created and written by Michaela Coel, who also stars, the British TV series enjoys universal critical acclaim and has earned Coel the BAFTA for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme.

Chewing Gum is both hilariously innocent and deliciously raunchy, allowing Tracey to navigate all sorts of outlandish scenarios – like weird dates and sex parties. The series premiered in 2015 and ran for two seasons. After that, Coel went on to create and star in I May Destroy You, widely regarded as one of the best shows to come out in 2020.
