When a mysterious illness targets high school girls, lawyer Joanna Hanley returns to her hometown to defend a pharmaceutical company.

Soon, she is drawn into the shadowy world of hackers, political movements and activists. With unemployment rates rising, tensions in town are running high as well. It will be that much more difficult for Joanna to figure out what's going on.

Besides uncovering a conspiracy, the big city lawyer is also trying to find out why her family left her hometown in such a hurry when she was younger. The series does a great job at keeping viewers engaged – and will especially appeal to fans of legal dramas.
