Booking.com has run the numbers to find the biggest accommodation all over the world. If you're looking for an inspired destination and incredible savings at the same time, these destinations and travel times might be your best friend.

Booking.com tracked average prices for a hostel stay, month to month, for the entire year of 2016. These are when hostels are having their cheapest months compared to their most expensive, and how much you can save.
This means you're generally looking at a lot of incredible destinations that would be pretty pricey if you visited at the wrong time. Like Dubrovnik in Croatia where it can be 67% cheaper to book for January rather than its peak, or Kuala Lumpur where you can get a room 71% cheaper if you don't mind a bit of tropical rain.
If you want to go to the best places in the world, it's worth finding the best time to visit and avoiding the crowds, because the savings are real. You can find the top five biggest savings destinations for each month below.
Where to travel each month for the best savings
Wherever you're going, it's worth looking for the best time go there. You'll need to get there first though. You might get lucky and find a sale, but there are no guarantees one will come around, especially for popular routes. If you want cheap flights, book way in advance, no less than 6 months out. The same way you'll want to book your accommodation way in advance.
