What’s New On Netflix, Presto and Stan in May 2016?

Alex Kidman 27 April 2016

Netflix goes in heavy on originals, Presto offers up plenty of movies and Stan heads to Wolf Creek. Here’s what you’ll find on Australia’s largest streaming services in May.

As winter starts to encroach on Australian lifestyles, the appeal of streaming on-demand video services grows. Gone are the days of Summer where we frolicked on the beach, replaced with quiet nights in front of the telly, binge watching your favourite TV shows or movies. Here’s what’s on offer.

What’s new on Netflix May 2016

Netflix’s announced schedule is rather thin in terms of the total number of titles, although that’s a balancing act that’s perhaps weighed in Netflix’s favour considering it has way more original series of its own production than its competitors.

Of particular note is the "TV" version of Scream. Season 2 debuts at the end of the month, but not in the same fashion as previous series releases on Netflix. You won’t be able to binge watch the entire season at once; instead new episodes of Scream will appear on a weekly basis.
