If you die or are diagnosed with a terminal illness, nib Value Life Insurance will pay a lump sum to your loved ones to help protect their financial future. The following benefits are available with nib Value Life Insurance:

  • A choice of cover from $100,000 up to $1 million
  • No medical tests required
  • Early terminal illness payout
  • Premium protection (premiums waived for up to six months if you suffer an accidental injury and are unable to perform your daily activities)
  • Possible advance payment of $10,000 for immediate expenses

nib Income Protection

If you are unable to earn an income due to injury, illness or involuntary unemployment, nib Income Protection pays you a regular payment while you get back on your feet. nib Income Protection includes the following features:

  • Provides you with up to 85% of your income, up to $10,000 per month, for sickness and injury cover
  • Provides optional involuntary unemployment cover of up to 85% of your income, up to $3,000 per month, for up to three months
  • Offers premiums up to 30% less if you are in good health
  • Offers premiums tailored to your job type

nib Funeral Plan

Typically, a nib Funeral Plan pays a lump sum within 24 hours of a claim being processed to ensure your family has the funds to cover your funeral expenses. The nib Funeral Plan features the following benefits:

  • Up to $15,000 of cover
  • Fast payout (normally within 24 hours)
  • Premium protection (premiums waived for up to six months if you suffer an accidental injury and can’t perform your daily activities)
  • Guaranteed acceptance
  • No medical tests required
  • Level premiums that do not increase with age
