Have the bad news first.

The bad news is that around three quarters of people have trouble staying in shape while travelling. 60% report getting less sleep, 65% say they exercise less and 15% report elevated stress levels, according to a traveller's survey from Westin Hotels & Resorts.

The good news is that there's a fix.

As of 21 November, you'll finding 15 minute workout videos, curated by and starring TV presenter, fitness coach and former Miss Universe Rachael Finch, in Westin rooms across Australia and Fiji.

If you want to try it yourself, Westin is taking the workout to the streets. At midday Tuesday 21 November Finch will be leading a workout workshop and going over the video's moves at Sydney's Martin Place.

It's a half hour session, including a ten minute warmup and cooldown on either end. It's absolutely free, but you'll still need to register ahead of time. You can pick up your tickets here at Eventbrite.

It's a bit more intensive than the 15-minute videos you'll find in Westin rooms, but there's no need to strain yourself. It's a vacation workout after all. If you want a real hotel workout you might be better off heading to the gym.

But if you're staying somewhere that doesn't have a gym, or just don't feel energetic enough to go all the way down there, you can still get a solid workout using just the things you find in a hotel room.
