Manly star fullback Tom Trobjevic destroyed the Titans last week. Will he do the same to Wests Tigers?

SUMMARY: Tigers vs Manly is exclusive to Fox League. So unless you already subscribe to Foxtel, your best option is to watch live on Kayo Sports. Watch for free using this 14-day trial.

It's amazing what an injection of confidence does to a team. Manly look a completely different side with their star fullback Tom Trbojevic causing havoc from the back. It couldn't be worse timing for the lowly Tigers. "Turbo" was simply devastating in his side's 36-0 victory over Gold Coast in his return from a hamstring injury.

The gallant Tigers were gutted after their heart-breaking loss to Souths when Tom Burgess scored the winning try in golden-point extra time. How do they recover from that? It's up to coach Michael Maguire to get them up again against Manly.

Wests Tigers vs Sea Eagles kick-off time

Tigers vs Manly match preview

Not surprisingly, Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler has made no changes to his side in its hunt for a third straight win. The return of Trbojevic last week was something to behold. For a month Manly had looked like they would contend for the club's first ever wooden spoon.

Then suddenly against the Titans "Turbo" had Manly soaring. Manly scored six tries last week after only scoring eight in the opening five weeks. They also achieved more than 50% of their line break total in Mudgee compared to the opening five rounds.

ESPN even found that Tom Trbojevic has a greater winning influence for Manly than Andrew Johns and Jonathan Thurston had for their own sides. For Manly's sake, let's hope Turbo can stay injury-free because the Sea Eagles clearly can't fly without him.

Tigers veteran Michael Chee-Kam comes into the centres to replace Asu Kepaoa, who tore his ACL against South Sydney. With the pending arrival of Jackson Hastings at the Tigers from 2022, halfback Luke Brooks will be determined to cement his hold on the number 7 jersey.

Brooks hasn't made a huge impact this year, although he sits third for try-assists with seven behind Jarome Luai and Chad Townsend (both nine). We can't see Brooks leading the Tigers to an upset win on Anzac Day.

The Tigers only won three times from eight trips to Bankwest Stadium last year so it has hardly been a happy hunting ground for them. We're putting our faith in Tom Trbojevic to again inspire his team to victory against a Tigers outfit who were brave but ultimately outclassed against the Rabbitohs. Sea Eagles by 14 points.
