Tigers vs Titans match preview
While the Titans have had the wood over the Tigers in recent seasons, things are likely to be different in 2023.
That's because the Tigers have undergone plenty of changes since last season, with a new coach, captain and some high-profile recruits.
Their forward pack is especially strong now with the likes of Api Koroisau, David Klemmer, Isaiah Papali'i and John Bateman having joined the club.
Both teams had mixed results in the pre-season challenge.
The Tigers were thumped in their first outing by the Warriors but then completely dominated the Raiders the following week.
The Titans ground out a draw against the Broncos before handing a hiding to new NRL team the Dolphins in round 2.
Unfortunately for the Titans, forward Beau Fermor has a ruptured ACL, which means he could be out for the year before the season proper has begun.
But the Titans have signed Kieran Foran, so he will give them a boost in attack.
