They say the more things change, the more they stay the same and that seems frustratingly true for the Wests Tigers. In three of the past four seasons the Tigers have finished ninth, one spot out of the play-offs. With six rounds left until the finals, that is their position once more.

The joint-venture club needs to overturn a four-point deficit to catch the eighth-placed Rabbitohs and it won't be easy starting with the Roosters. A defeat to Melbourne last week left the premiers vulnerable in the top four. They will be intent on showing that was an aberration.

Who will win Tigers vs Roosters?

It seems likely it will be yet another season of frustration for Tigers fans. With just six games remaining, they need to reverse a four-point deficit to climb into the top eight. They also have a nightmare run home that includes games against Penrith, the Storm and Parramatta.

The injury-hit Roosters were disappointing against Melbourne last weekend. While Sonny Bill Williams isn't quite ready to return yet, they get some talent back this week, including Brett Morris and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. It's hard to tip against the premiers on Saturday.
