It's never easy to be the son of a legend. Tim Tszyu's father Kostya Tszyu is revered as arguably Australia's greatest boxer ever! However, Tim Tszyu is well on the way to making a name for himself. On 15 May, the undefeated 24-year-old Sydney-sider gets his big chance in the spotlight with his first pay-per-view Main Event billing.
It won't be an easy first fight for Tim Tszyu as his opponent, Joel Camilleri, is no chump. In fact, he is the current Australian Super Welterweight champ. At 28, Joel Camilleri has more experience on his side, but with five losses to go with his 17 wins, he's certainly a beatable opponent. Can the older boxer out-fox the rising star?
It makes for an intriguing contest, but Tim Tszyu's father believes his son is on the cusp of a meteoric rise in the boxing world. He said as much to Main Event, declaring; "Tim's not far away from reaching a big, important stage in his career. Maybe a year and a half, two years, I think. When he started walking, he already had the gloves on. It's destiny."

One of the more high profile fights on the Tszyu vs Camilleri undercard is between former NRL State of Origin legend Justin Hodges and Troy McMahon. Unfortunately it is not a QLD vs NSW battle, given McMahon is a Kiwi, but league fans will still be watching eagerly to see what happens. Judging by the fights proceeding it, if you want to make sure you don't miss the Hodges vs McMahon boxing fight, we suggest tuning in by 7:30pm.
If you have a Kayo Sports or Foxtel subscription, then you can watch the two fights on the Tszyu vs Camilleri preliminary undercard at no additional expense. These two fights will occur between 6:00pm and 7:00pm AEST on 15 May 2019 and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 505. They will also be proceeded by pre-fight content, including a look at the legacy of Tim Tszyu.

No doubt you're already familiar with what Foxtel offers as a service, but you may not be familiar yet with Kayo Sports. It's an excellent new streaming service – think Netflix for sports – that allows you to access the 14 best channels from Foxtel at a much cheaper price than Foxtel IQ or Foxtel Now. It works out to over 50 sports live and on-demand through your TV, mobile, tablet, PC and more. It has some unique, sports-specific viewing features, too, that make it the best way to watch sport in Australia at present.
It has a 14-day free trial, and you can read a full rundown of what it offers here.
Of course, like most pay-per-view boxing matches, you'll need to watch the main card through Main Event. As well as all eight fights, and replays into the future, Main Event is the only place to watch the actual Tszyu vs Camilleri fight.
You will need a Foxtel subscription, either through Foxtel IQ or Foxtel Now, to get access to Main Event in your home. At this point, you can order it for a one-off fee of $49.95. Alternatively, you can book it through the Main Event homepage. Sadly, Main Event is not yet accessible through Kayo Sports.
The best approach, we've always found, is to get a few mates to come around to watch the Tszyu vs Camilleri fight and to have some beers with you; then you can split the cost!
Around the country there are pubs that have Foxtel on offer, and therefore the capacity to order Main Event programming. Below is a list of all the pubs in Australia known to have Foxtel, and who could therefore choose to show the Tszyu vs Camilleri boxing fight. However, we highly recommend calling ahead to make sure they are showing the fight or you run the risk of disappointment.
