How to watch the X Games

In Australia, the only place to watch the X Games is ESPN. Luckily, you can gain access to ESPN with both Foxtel and Fetch TV subscriptions.

To watch ESPN with Foxtel you need the Sport Pack, which comes with several channels covering sporting events from all over the world. And if you’re out and about when your favourite team is playing, you can stream the game on your mobile device with the Foxtel app. It’s free for Foxtel subscribers.

Don’t fancy cable? A Foxtel Now subscription is your best bet. The streaming platform gives you access to Foxtel channels live via the Internet, while also allowing users to watch content on demand. ESPN is part of the Sport Pack, which costs $29/month. You’ll also need a Starter Pack, with prices from $10/month each. There are five to choose from – Lifestyle, Kids, Docos, Drama and Pop.

In total, you’ll pay a minimum of $39/month to be able to watch ESPN with Foxtel Now. However, the service comes with no lock-in contracts, so you can cancel your subscription anytime. Plus, there’s a free two-week trial for new clients!

ESPN is also part of the Fetch TV Vibe channel pack, which costs $6/month. You can buy a Fetch TV box outright or get one through a broadband provider.
