Synopsis

An unmarried 40-year-old woman turns to a turkey baster in order to become pregnant. Seven years later, she reunites with her best friend, who has been living with a secret: he replaced her preferred sperm sample with his own.

Cast and crew

  • Jason Bateman
  • Jennifer Aniston
  • Jeff Goldblum
  • Juliette Lewis
Kassie, a woman who is unlucky in love, decides to have a child using artificial insemination and finds a sperm donor. At Kassie's artificial insemination party, however, her best friend Wally gets very drunk and messes with the donor's sperm, but doesn't really remember his actions. Years later, when Wally finally gets acquainted with Kassie's precocious son, he starts to suspect that the boy may actually be his own.

The Switch is a little silly, but it's also entertaining and emotional. The top-notch cast doesn't hurt either. If you're a rom-com enthusiast, you'll fall head over heels for this one.
