After being off the air for a while and then postponed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a new season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne is finally here. However, not everyone has come back, with some new additions rounding up the glamorous group. Returning housewives for season 5 include Gamble Breaux and Janet Roach. As for new faces, you'll meet Simone Elliott, a businesswoman who juggles her demanding job with studying for an MBA and raising two children. She will be joined by personal trainer Cherry Dipietrantonio, Melbourne's champagne dame Kyla Kirkpatrick and TV journalist Anjali Rao. On the departure front, Gina Liano and Lydia Schiavello have left the Foxtel series. Liano to focus on her legal career and Schiavello citing personal reasons. Not all is grim, however – Jackie Gillies has rejoined RHOMelbourne for season 5. While she initially left the show at the end of season 4 to focus on starting a family, Gillies seems to have had a change of heart and will be back among her fellow housewives, letting fans in once again as she navigates the ups and downs of life. Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Melbourne premiered on Sunday 10 October 2021 and episodes air weekly on Foxtel and BINGE.
