Get cooking with the latest season of the hit British baking show.

Who'd have thought baking could be so captivating? Mixing batter and rolling dough isn't exactly edge-of-your-seat stuff, and yet thanks to the endearing personalities and classic British wit of The Great British Bake Off, competitive baking has become a mainstay of UK entertainment, and even countries outside the royal sphere have taken a keen interest in the cake-making exploits of the show's amateur bakers.

While the show entered its eighth season on Channel 4 back in August, Aussie baking fans are only now able to catch the latest round of the sugar-loaded competition. Season eight kicks off at 7:30pm on 7 November exclusively on Foxtel's Lifestyle FOOD channel, and new episodes will hit the channel every following week. Don't worry if you miss an episode, though, as each one will see numerous encore showings throughout the week on both Lifestyle FOOD and Lifestyle Channel.

If you don’t want to be tied to a Foxtel set-top box to get your baking fix, you can watch season eight online through Foxtel's streaming service Foxtel Now. Best of all, Foxtel is currently offering a two-week free trial of Foxtel Now, so you can get a taste of The Great British Bake Off without laying down any dough at all.
