Where to watch the Golden Slipper Carnival online in Australia

Posted: 24 April 2018 6:06 am News

The Golden Slipper Carnival is a major racing event held every year, with coverage on both free-to-air and pay TV.

For some, it’s the joy of watching a horse become a legend. For others, it’s the excitement of the race. Whichever the case, the Golden Slipper Carnival is always cause for celebration. The prestigious horse racing event is held at the home of racing in Sydney’s west, Rosehill Gardens. It’s part of the compelling Sydney autumn carnival, the major racing carnival held in New South Wales each year. The carnival takes place in March and April, being the most anticipated racing event held during autumn.

The Longines Golden Slipper is the premier race for two-year-old thoroughbreds in Australia and the world's richest. It is steeped in tradition and coveted by everyone from trainers to jockeys to owners. In 2018, Estijaab led the race from start to finish, winning the Longines Golden Slipper at Rosehill Gardens back in March.
