Where to watch The Gifted online in Australia

Alexandra Plesa 26 April 2018 NEWS

Ready for a delightful series about an underground community of mutants fighting to survive? If you’re a fan of the X-Men franchise, The Gifted will be right up your alley.

As far as the superhero genre is concerned, The Gifted is often overlooked, which is a real shame. With glorious special effects and a compelling story, the series is a pleasant surprise, often tackling topical and complex subjects. The premise is simple: what happens to potential X-Men who aren’t getting recruited by Charles Xavier?

The Gifted follows a family who goes on the run from the government after they discover that their children have mutant abilities. They soon join an underground community of mutants and engage in a never-ending battle for freedom and equality. It stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Percy Hynes White and Natalie Alyn Lind.

The show premiered last year in the US and was renewed for a second season. After a long wait, The Gifted is finally making its way to Australia, so X-Men fans have reason to celebrate.
