Where to watch the 2018 Giro d’Italia online in Australia

Alexandra Plesa 21 May 2018 NEWS

This year marks the 101st edition of the Giro d'Italia and cycling enthusiasts can watch every stage of the competition live.

Giro d’Italia is one of cycling's Grand Tour races, along with the Tour de France and Vuelta a España. The prestigious multiple-stage bicycle race is mainly held in Italy, but often passes through nearby countries as well. The routes change every year. However, the format remains the same, with 21 day-long segments or stages taking place over a 23-day period. Participants get two rest days to recover during the event.

In 2018, the competition started on 4 May in Israel with three exciting races, marking one of the most expensive sporting events in Israel's history. There are 21 stages in total, with the final race scheduled to take place on 27 May in Rome.
