Teen Mom is the spiritual successor of 16 and Pregnant, where the expectant mothers are now facing the challenges of motherhood head on. These young women must tackle marriage, relationships, adoption, getting a job, money, finishing school and moving forward with their lives all while parenting a baby. For these teens life is going to get harder from here on out.

Each episode focuses on one challenge they each face, interviewing all their experiences into one. Each season is a new set of young mothers who have just given birth following their appearances on 16 and Pregnant.
