History of Thunder vs Scorchers
The Scorchers are the most successful team in BBL history, winning titles in 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2016/17. The Thunder were the team to break up that dynasty with victory in the 2015/16 season. In terms of head-to-head match-ups, Perth have won 6 to Sydney's 5.
Who will win Thunder vs Scorchers?
Former Australian women's international Mel Jones rates the Scorchers as the biggest threat to the Sydney Sixers' hopes of going back-to-back. And we agree Perth will have too much firepower for the Thunder here. Kiwi international Colin Munro provides the grunt up top, Mitchell Marsh is a fine all-round talent, while Jhye Richardson, Joel Paris, AJ Tye and Fawad Ahmed make a formidable bowling attack that covers all bases.
