You Buddy beauty! The Swans finally welcome back superstar Lance Franklin to take on the revitalised Adelaide Crows.

SUMMARY: Swans vs Crows is on Fox Footy. So unless you're already an existing Foxtel customer, your best option is to watch live on Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial.

It has been 581 days since star forward Lance Franklin made his last appearance for the Sydney Swans. But coach John Longmire has confirmed the injury-plagued 34-year-old is ready to go against the Crows.

The Swans didn't need Franklin last weekend, however, when they upset AFL powerhouse Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.

The Crows pulled off a round one boilover of their own with their shock victory over 2020 grand finalists Geelong. The bookies have them pegged as long shots against the Swans. But they have a strong wind in their sails and won't be pushovers.

When is Sydney Swans vs Adelaide Crows?

This match at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground starts at 1:45pm AEDT on Saturday 27 March.

Who will win Sydney Swans vs Adelaide Crows?

Buddy Franklin's return will certainly be a huge boost for the Swans but don't forget he hasn't played a competitive match since 2019. It will be interesting to see whether he can dominate proceedings in his comeback that is sure to be played in front of a raucous home crowd.

The Crows will be missing defender Jake Kelly, who is sidelined under the AFL's new concussion protocols. But if veteran forward Taylor Walker can repeat his heroics from the epic victory over the Cats, Adelaide are capable of causing another upset. However, we'll tip the Buddy factor to inspire the Swans to an impressive 2-0 season start.
