BBL Sydney Sixers vs Perth Scorchers: Start time and how to watch free

Update: The Sixers and Scorchers will be meeting again in the BBL final - see our full guide.
The BBL's best team meets the competition's form XI in a mouthwatering T20 match-up this weekend.
Sydney Sixers, the defending champions, flexed their muscles with a comfortable five-wicket derby win over the Sydney Thunder on Wednesday. That victory ensured the Sixers, now 7-3, maintained their position atop the BBL ladder.
But the competition's hottest team is the Perth Scorchers. After a slow start, the Scorchers have peeled off five straight wins and bookmakers can't decide between them and the Sixers as title favourites. This should be an absolute beauty and quite possibly a preview of the final.
When is BBL Sydney Sixers vs Perth Scorchers?
Play at Canberra's picturesque Manuka Oval starts at 6:40pm AEDT on Saturday 16 January.

History of Sixers vs Scorchers
These are the most successful teams in BBL history and the only clubs to have won multiple titles (Scorchers 3, Sixers 2). Perth have dominated the head-to-head match-up, winning 11 times to the Sixers' 6.
Who will win Sixers vs Scorchers?
It feels wrong to bet against the Sixers but we like the Scorchers' chances of extending their winning streak to six. They made mincemeat of the Hobart Hurricanes on Tuesday and have most T20 bases covered. Their English opening pairing of Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone is in superb touch, sharing a 123-run opening stand against the Hurricanes.
