A pair of NRL heavyweights clash in this huge top 4 contest as the Roosters host the Panthers.

SUMMARY: Sydney Roosters vs Penrith Panthers is only on Fox League. So unless you're already an existing Foxtel iQ customer with the Sports HD pack, your best option is to watch live on Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial.

The Roosters have claimed back-to-back victories to lift them into 4th on the table with a 6–4 record making for an indifferent start to the year. With their experience and class, they still loom as a major threat.

The Panthers bounced back from their first loss of the season to crush the Storm 32–6 in a powerful display last week. All their defensive prowess was on display in a ruthless performance.

When is Roosters vs Panthers?

Roosters vs Panthers match preview

As we draw closer to the State of Origin period, Penrith will want to keep banking wins against contenders knowing they will be losing a stack of players.

They could hardly have been more impressive last week in their win over the Storm and they'll see this contest as another chance to flex their muscle against a resurgent team.

The Roosters have beaten some good teams and lost to some average ones in a strange season, but the last fortnight has looked quite promising for them.

Dylan Edwards and James Tedesco sit number 1 and 2 respectively in the NRL for running metres and the fullbacks will have a big say in this one.

We can't tip against the Panthers here though (versus the Roosters), especially after last week.
