Watch Sydney Roosters vs Brisbane Broncos NRL live and match preview

The Broncos are still trying to work out their best halves combination while the Roosters are just outside the NRL's top 4.
The Roosters are chugging along nicely despite their well-documented injury list. The injuries have opened the door for hyped youngster Joseph Suaalli, who will make his debut at just 17 years old, coach Trent Robinson confirmed during the week.
Broncos coach Kevin Walters labelled his team "soft" after their 44-point capitulation to Manly in Magic Round. They need to toughen up now or else they will be locked in another fierce battle to avoid the wooden spoon they currently hold.
Roosters vs Broncos kick-off time
The Roosters play host to the Broncos at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday 22 May from 5:30pm AEST. Check out the NRL draw here.

Roosters vs Broncos match preview
Coach Kevin Walters has swung the axe, with million-dollar man Anthony Milford being the highest profile casualty. It has been reported that the Broncos won't be offering the maligned Milford a new deal for 2022.
Walters has handed the five-eighth jersey to former Titans playmaker Albert Kelly, who hasn't played in the NRL for seven years. It will be Brisbane's fifth halves pairing in 11 games as Kelly links with Tyson Gamble against the Roosters.
In other changes, Keenan Palasia replaces suspended back-rower Jordan Riki, David Mead comes on to one wing in place of former Maroons star Corey Oates and hooker Kobe Hetherington will make his NRL debut off the bench.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson will be grateful the injury curse on his squad seems to have disappeared, at least for now minus Josh Morris this week.
It's a credit to his coaching ability the Tricolours have only lost three matches this season despite missing Origin stars Jake Friend, Luke Keary, Brett Morris and Lindsay Collins. Sitting on the edge of the top 4 with a 7-3 record, they next face 2 teams hopelessly out of form in the Broncos and Raiders before a round 13 bye.
Brisbane confront heavyweights the Roosters and Storm over the next fortnight and don't get their bye until round 17. Things look like they'll keep getting worse before they get better. We believe the Roosters will kick the disjointed Broncos while they are down with their class across the paddock. Roosters by 20+ points and Suaalii to score on debut.
