While The Force Awakens has been largely chalked up as A New Hope revisited, The Last Jedi is widely regarded as the anti-Empire Strikes Back. Now that Master Skywalker has been found by aspiring wannabe Rey, surely her training can commence in earnest (somersaulting over logs, swinging on hairy vines, dislodging poorly parked X-Wings – that sort of thing). The curriculum on offer is quite a bit different, though and the unorthodoxy continues among the stars as the rest of the rebels are hunted down by an incredibly ruthless (yet surprisingly patient) First Order fleet.

Who's in it?

  • Daisy Ridley as Rey
  • John Boyega as Finn
  • Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron
  • Adam Driver as Kylo Ren
