New Dragons coach Anthony Griffin takes charge of a side many experts are tipping to take the wooden spoon off the Brisbane Broncos this year.

Cronulla's season is yet to kick off and the job security of their coach John Morris is already being questioned. The pressure on both coaches will be sky high from the get-go.

St George Illawarra Dragons vs Cronulla Sharks: Head-to-Head

Who will win Dragons vs Sharks?

The Dragons were woeful in their Charity Shield loss to South Sydney and the absence of injured skipper Cameron McInnes is a massive blow. McInnes will miss the entire season with a serious knee injury.

In some hope for Dragons fans, Cronulla have lost their past seven matches to start a new season.

We're expecting the Sharks to win this encounter, even without their injured playmaker Shaun Johnson (achilles). In what will be an extremely rain affected contest the scoring is likely to stay low. Sharks by four points.
